At the end of February our colleagues Juan Muruzabal and Asier Arrizabalaga travelled to Colombia to follow up on the operation of more than 260 penstocks.
They also had the opportunity to share all their knowledge and train the plant team for the best operation and maintenance of the gates.

- AG stop gate penstocks (DN600x850)
- SL stainless steel stop log penstocks (DN1400x3100 – 1650x3350)
- RB weir penstock (DN 1350x410)
About Salitre WWTP:
Aqualia has led a consortium that has managed the expansion of the El Salitre Wastewater Treatment Plant, a critical project aimed at improving the sanitation system of the city of Bogotá and its environment. The plant will treat a flow of more than 600,000 cubic meters of water per day (m3/day) and will serve 3 million people.
